My fiancee, my future step daughter and I went camping last weekend. Let me tell you, it was a fantastic experience. My fiancee made the best campfire food I had ever had.
So, I sat by the campfire Friday night, pondering, well, everything. Then the thought occured to me: Do liberals go camping? I know that these things seem quite unrelated, but follow my logic for a minute…
First off, there’s the campfire, and we all know how liberals feel about new-fangled things like fire and heat. I mean, burning that wood and releasing all those carbon emissions into the air and bringing about Santa, the Easter Bunny and Global Warming. We should keep this part under wraps because between Obama, Pelosi and all the other liberal crazies they might try to do Cap And Tax on campfires. Let’s remember, too, that most people who go camping use disposable plates and flatware and such, not to mention the packaging for these things. You know that we will be overrun with landfills if this keeps up! Also, remember that most liberals are from cities, and camping involves things that you just can’t get in the city like real darkness, fresh air, staring at the stars, real quiet, interaction with nature…
You know, if they don’t go camping, I think I’ll just keep it that way!
I’m afraid the headline is true. At least she’s replacing another liberal.
I wonder, if a white male had made the type of comments she’d made, would they have possibly ever been considered?!
Just asking.
Well, here we go. Did you hear what Dear Leader said? “Maybe you’re better off, uuuuuh, not having the surgery. Maybe you’re better off taking the pain killer.” WTF?! Where is the compassion? Where is the empathy?
This now begs the following questions: Could his mother have been saved? Could his grandmother have been saved? Was it just cheaper, Mr. President, to give them a pill and let them die?
These is the kind of ideas that liberals across America and on liberal talk radio have been pushing since Dear Leader’s innauguration. Their desire for government controlled health care like that which people in Canada and the United Kingdom suffer through gets on the air every day. They mock us saying that we would rather have people die than provide socialistic healthcare, yet these words come out of The President’s mouth. Interesting.
Here’s the facts: The United States of America has the best health care in the world. People from across the globe, even those with socialist healthcare,  come here when doctors everywhere else have given up. We have the best cancer survival rates, the best technology and the best health care professionals. Don’t believe me? Read this.
We don’t need government funded health care. I believe that if this thing passes it will adversely effect health care for the rest of us. In fact, I know it will. Here in Chicago there is the Cook County Bureau of Health Services. It is, in essense, government run healthcare. I recently dropped someone off to pick up a prescription at the public hospital. IT TOOK THREE HOURS! I know people who suffer through this and let me tell you the level of care is far inferior to what I enjoy in my own private health plan. I know someone very close to me who is in the VA system. They seem to have just given up on him.
So, to those on the left, don’t give me this nonsense that we desperately need socialist healthcare. Don’t tell me that the health care system we have is broken. Is it perfect? No, but you liberals make it sound like there are dead bodies stacked up on the street, or perhaps that is your goal.
