A couple of months ago, I came up with a clever (if I say so myself) re-write of the Pledge of Allegiance called, no less, The Liberal Pledge of Allegiance.
As usual, I sometimes say things jokingly figuring that even the most wild-eyed liberal wouldn’t dare say such things.
The first line of the Liberal Pledge was “I pledge allegiance to the President of the Global State Of America.” Ha ha, right? Then, today I run across this video:
Incredible, isn’t it? I find it intensely disgusting, to be quite frank with you. Never in my life did I imagine that a bunch of wild-eyed Hollywood liberals would get together and make a video like this….
At the same time, I find it amusing how the left always wants to look down their noses at us, The say that we’re the ones who are uninformed. They call us “low information voters.” Really? I see here a prime example of a bunch of wild-eyed leftists showing the world just how little they really know.
You see, The President, as well as every single elected official in this great nation of ours, is elected into office not to be served by the people, but to serve the people. This is a prime example of just how wrong the left is about this country, and how little they know, or even, just how little they care about this country and her founding principles.
There are days when I think I have heard every silly thing that liberals have to say… then I listen to liberal talk radio and realize that they still haven’t run out of silly things to say.
Today, I was driving back from my delivery in Indianapolis. I was near the end of my route when I tuned in Thom Hartmann. I must admit, most days his brand of drivel is hard to stomach, and today was no exception.
I was listening to Mr Hartmann describe an experience where he and his wife took in a German exchange student. He said that this young person had told them that he knew about the holocaust because he had been told about it in school. One day, he and his wife take this young person to the movie ‘Schindler’s List.’ The young man cried throughout the movie and for hours after. He then describes a visit to Germany where he visited one of the camps. He proceeds to describe being at a site where thousands upon thousands of Jews were killed by Hitler’s soldiers. Then he did it. He goes on to wonder aloud, on air, if some day we, as Americans, will feel the kind of remorse that this young man did, over some slapping around and splashing of water. WHAT?!?!
How dare you, Mr. Hartmann, compare the murder of millions upon millions of innocent Jews, simply for being who they were, to tough interrogation tactics used on suspected terrorists in the heat of war. You, Mr. Hartmann, have shown your true idiocy.
So, during my daily dose of self-inflicted indignation, I listened to liberal author and radio talk-show host Thom Hartmann, who made a comment that I actually agree with.
In his commentary about the conflict between Israel and the Hamas thugs in Gaza, he said the same liberal drivel that I would expect from one like Mr. Hartmann. He was talking about how before the elections in Gaza we, the United States, should have been over there building schools and hospitals and infrastructure (aren’t these people against ‘nation building?) and blah blah blah. He went on about how the Palestinians have nothing to show for anything and are suffering from insane poverty.
Then he said it.
Desperate people vote for the crazies.
Now, that’s not a direct quote, and I am paraphrasing, but the essence of what he said is there. Then it got me to thinking… and anyone who knows me and just how dangerous that can be. But I know good and evil and keep my brilliance in check. I only use my powers for good. But I digress.
Anyway, as I got to thinking, I realized just how much the Criminal Liberal News Media were trumping up just how bad the economy was right before the election. Gnashing of teeth and screams of agony in the streets. People jumping off bridges and stock market crashes. People standing in soup lines and waiting hours for a roll or toilet paper. Ohhhhh, the sky is falling! At least, so they told us.
 Then the polls started to swing, and the Criminals in The Media saw that their tactic was working, so they kept harping and pounding at it. The people grew desperate. Couple that with a mediocre campaign from McCain, the half-liberal, and the stage was set.
 So, Thom Hartmann was right. Desperate people voted for the crazies. Now the crazies have taken over Congress, and will be taking over the White House in a few days.
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, Democrats think that Israel should have sat down and talked with people who are lobbing rockets in their direction.
I wonder how many of these people would put up with someone coming in and damaging their property, or wounding and killing their families, before standing up and defending such. I wonder how many of these people would let themselves be sucker-punched without punching back. I wonder how many of these people are men who would try to negotiate with a man who is in the act of raping his wife, his mother, his sister.
These idiotic liberals make me sick. These people have taken over Europe, and they will be taking over here very soon. That’s right, boys and girls, the days of terrorists attacking America with impunity will be back January 20th.
You know what? Nevermind. These same people who claim to be so against any kind of violence are the same people who think it’s perfectly okay to grind an unborn (and even partially born, and in the case of our incoming Dear Leader Barack Obama, wholly born) baby to a fine pulp.
You know, for many years I had a great deal of respect and admiration for General Colin Powell.
That has vanished as of Sunday.
I would say that The General went rogue on Sunday, but that would be a lie. Powell went rogue years ago, but I’ll just cover recent events. In case you were under a rock, The General endorsed Barack Obama for President. Now, Mr Powell is going on CNN saying that the Republican Party should abandon its conservative values??
No, those words didn’t come out of his mouth, but that’s what he implied. I find it odd, that the man who jumped ship and endorsed the other guy would now tell us how we should think. Wasn’t it bad enough, General, that the Republicans nominated half a liberal in John McCain? Isn’t John McCain just the kind of guy that people like you wanted? You say, Mr Powell, that the problem was that the Republican Party moved too far to the right. I say that it’s major problem is that it has moved too far to the left. If I, and people like me wanted to vote for a liberal, we’d have voted for Obama. The Republican move to the left is the very reason that many conservatives chose to stay home on election day. Forget not, General that 48% of the popular vote (You remember the popular vote that the liberals held so dearly after 2000) went to McCain. I firmly believe that the outcome would have been very different if the Republicans had run a strong conservative.
You say that the party should stop listening to Rush Limbaugh, I say that the reason that the party is having a hard time winning anything is because they haven’t litened to Limbaugh or other conservative thinkers. The powers that be want to make the Republican Party = Democrat Light. I say: No Thanks.
Mr Powell, why not make it official? Just declare yourself a Democrat. You act and speak like one anyway.
So, during my daily dose of masochism, I listened to Bill Press, who had something very foolish to say, as usual.
Liberal 3:16
For those of you who don’t know, it is tradition that the President-Elect take up residency at the Blair House on or about the 15th of January. Mr. Obama had asked if he and the family could move in on or about the 5th, to facilitate his daughters starting at their new school. Perfectly understandable. Unfortunately, the Blair House is booked on several nights before the 15th, so the Obamas moving in just wasn’t possible. Mr. Obama said there were no hard feelings.
So, I tune in this morning, and to my dismay, Bill Press decides to dedicate nearly an hour of his show whining, bitching and complaining about it. Then he had the gall to compare The Obama Family to Mary and Joseph, looking for space at the inn. For those who don’t know, Mary and Joseph were turned away, and thus Jesus was born in a manger.
I find it ridiculously amusing that so many people are looking to Mr. Obama as a Messiah. Louis Farakkhan even went so far as to call him that. With such high expectations, aren’t the very people who so desperately wanted ‘change’ sabotaging him to fail before he even gets started?
ROTFL! I have nothing to add to this. Today in Baghdad, Iraq, a journalist threw his shoes at George W Bush. I do have to admit, this is pretty funny… and sad all at once. Here is a man who was liberated from the iron fist of Saddam Hussein, throwing his shoes at the man responsible for his freedom. Ungrateful bastard.
