Yes, I Have a Problem With The President Speaking To Children

So, the left wingers have been up in arms because many of us on the right do not want our children exposed to socialism.  They say that he is only going to be speaking about working hard (to pay more taxes and support those who don’t work at all) and staying in school.

That may be true.  I have yet to see the script.

However, I have a problem with someone, President or not, white black green or purple, who thinks that children are a punishment.  I have a problem wih someone who thinks that the civil rights (first among them - the right to life) of a child are above his paygrade.  I want no man who holds those opinions to speak to my child about life.  I can handle that myself, thank you very much.

Yes, I know that the President has children.  He may even be a fantastic father to his daughters.  I find it shocking that he is so willing to speak to everyone else’s  children when he has such a low opinion of them.

Moving on to the fears that those of us on the right have about him propagandizing our kids.  Is it really that far fetched?  Are we to forget what Fidel Castro did to Elian Gonzalez?  What about the Hitler Youth?  Left wingers have no problem throuhout history using children to try to attain their goals.  Even here in America you can turn on any children’s television channel or turn on any movie directed at children and they’re forever trying to pump our kids head with leftist poison.  Are we to ignore all the nonsense “Public Service Announcements” about global warming?

The main reason that the left is angry is that we’ve seen through their veil.

Obama’s Faith-Based Advisor Calls For Challenge To ‘Heteronormative’ Fatherhood

(CNSNews.com) - A controversial member of President Barack Obama’s faith-based council said that part of the administration’s role in promoting responsible fatherhood should include moving beyond America’s “heteronormative view of fatherhood.”

Why does this not surprise me?  As we approach Father’s Day in a few weeks, I cannot help but notice how fathers have been marginalized in American society.

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing but love and respect for single moms, and by no means is this meant to slight them, but, there is something to be said for having dad around.

I remember being young, and the most horrifying thing my mom could say to me was “wait until your father finds out.”

I have read many studies that suggest that children who grow up without a father figure tend to do worse in school, be more prone to engaging in criminal activity and teen pregnancy.

For the President to have a moron on his staff that would suggest something like this is appaling, but not surprising.  I, for one, intend to be a dad to my children, and I think it’s time that men reclaim their rightful place as ‘dad.’
