Why Do I Listen To Liberal Talk Radio?

A friend of mine asked me today, why do I listen to liberal talk radio when it pisses me off so much? Here’s my answer: I listen to liberal talk radio for several reasons. For one, so I have material to write on this here. Liberal talk radio provides an abundance of just plain ignorant things for me to write about. More importantly, here in Chicago there are a group of 3 liberal talk stations simulcasting eachother. Since something is wrong with the radio in my truck, if I want to listen to someone with something intelligent to say, I’m out of luck since it won’t pick up any AM stations. So there. Let’s Stop With The Birth Certificate Thing…

I keep hearing mumblings about Barack Obama’s Hawiian birth certificate.  Allegations include that it’s not real and that he was born in Indonesia.  Can we, as Conservatives, knock it off already?

Here’s the facts: He won.  Do we really want to have to swear in President Joe Biden on January 20th?  Even if these allegations are true, how can they possibly be proven?  Do we really think that the Democrat party didn’t check all this out before he was nominated?  Let’s think about this for a moment like the rational people that we are.

I will focus more on strategy later, but for the time being let’s keep this in mind: In 2010 we’ll have a chance to bring balance back to Congress, and we’re not going to get there by going off on a bunch of fool’s errands.  Let’s knock it off, grab our ankles and clench our teeth, we already know it’s going to be a rough ride, but if we keep our focus and bring the Republican Party back to the Conservative values that made it so great in the past, we will get through this stronger than ever.
